On a warm and bright May afternoon, friends and family gathered to celebrate Peter receiving his Juris Doctorate from The Whittier Law School, in Costa Mesa, California.

BillyBob > As you would expect, Peter was unable to contain himself, giggling and laughing throughout the ceremony.

Peter said that he and the other graduates were told to arrive early for the ceremony. This meant that everyone's been outside in the sun for quite a while before the ceremony even started.

As a law student, I'm sure Peter has not seen the sun for such an extended period of time. Already he's formulating the law suit against the school in his mind.

BillyBob > This is Neil Cogan, Vice President and Dean of the law school, delivering his opening remarks. It was a rather long speech.

BillyBob > As you can tell, the graduates were enthralled by the speech. Peter can be seen in the second row from the front, in the middle of this shot.

BillyBob > On the left side, we see the graduates with last names beginning with the letters A through L. They were lucky in that the sun was at their back

BillyBob > On the right-hand side are the graduates with last names beginning with M through Z.

Peter is not visible in this photo, but he sat in the second row, 2 or 3 seats from the right. He can be seen in a close-up view in the next photo.

BillyBob > Here's a close up of the same group you saw in the previous photo. The folks on this side were facing the sun and loving every moment of it.

I'm guessing Peter was squinting throughout the ceremony due to the sun shining in his eyes. Or maybe not

BillyBob > It looks as though the Dean has finally stopped talking. The next speaker was Domenic Di Noto, class speaker.
