2008 Orange County Fair (July 20, 2008) : I joined the Narikawa clan in sampling the various treats of the O.C. Fair. Where else would you see skinny, blond O.C. Moms eating fried twinkies? Not pictured: Me eating quite possibly the best sausage sandwitch ever.

4th of July Festival at Newport Dunes (July 4th, 2008) : Randy and I joined the Narikawa family in celebrating the 4th of July at Newport Dunes. It was the 50th anniversary of the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina, so the event was "extra special". If you consider $50 admission, $8 chili dogs, and terrible traffic control as "special". The Founding Fathers would've vomited in anger!

Randy and I joined the Narikawa family in celebrating the 4th of July at Newport Dunes. It was the 50th anniversary of the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina, so the event was "extra special". Redondo Beach Lobster Festival (September 24, 2006) : My friend Jesse and I went to sample the food and sights of the Redondo Beach Lobster Festival. I didn't eat any lobsters that day, but Jesse did... with gusto! I did capture the magical process where ugly, smelly crustaceans turn into yummy, tasty lobsters. It's OK. Pinchy would've wanted it that way.
