Great Falls Park, McLean, Virginia (October 25, 2009) : On a cool, bright Sunday, I took all my photo gear and drove to Great Falls Park. The Park is located 10 miles up the Potomac River, and minutes from the District. In addition to the falls themselves, the trees started changing colors to yellows and browns.

3rd Tangerine Falls Hike, Santa Barbara County (March 29, 2008) : Jesse, Paul, Randy, Ki, and I revisit one of our favorite hikes, Tangerine Falls. The weather was hazy, but delightfully cool. We started our hike a little late, and didn't make it back to our cars until after the Sun went down. However, the time was well spent and the falls were as wonderful as we remembered.

Inspiration Point, Santa Barbara County (May 27, 2007) : Our original goal was to hike to either Three Pools and/or Seven Falls. Unfortunately, we kept reaching dead ends, and could not figure out where the trail was. Luckily, the trail to Inspiration Point was easier to find so we went there instead. The weather that day was hazy, but the view was still pretty spectacular.

1st Tangerine Falls Hike, Santa Barbara County (July 21, 2006) : Our first hike in the Front Country of Santa Barbara County. Unfortunately, we took a wrong turn and didn't find the falls on this hike. We did learn that hiking in hot, humid conditions leads to very cranky hikers. Oh, and don't touch the poison oak.
