These pictures were taken as part of the Photography class I took at UCLA Extension. The Getty Center was the 2nd of three class field trips to take pictures. It was my first trip to the Getty Center, and I was very excited. However, I was too tired from working the night before, so I didn't stay very long. I did wander through two of the exhibit halls, one focusing on Photography and the other about Oudry's Painted Menagerie.
Our assignment today was to play with depth of field and to take pictures that convey a word or emotion. I was too busy not paying attention so a lot of my pictures did not meet the professor's criteria. However, I was able to do some quick thinking and came up with a couple when it was my turn to share.
One of the skylights for the galleries below the main plaza. The weather was very hazy, and I was not able to get many good shots of downtown or West L.A.
