Arlington National Cemetery (May 30, 2006) : I visited Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day weekend. The weather was hot and the humidity was high. In short, it was a pretty lousy day to spend walking up and down hills in the hot sun. I had to work that evening so I did my best to survive the awful weather. I did not get to see every memorial or grave that I was hoping to get to because I was time-limited. However, I was able to see some of the more famous grave sites, including the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

Downtown and Capitol Hill (June 8, 2006) : These pictures were actually taken over the course of two days. The first day, I took some pictures around the White House and Lafayette Square. The 2nd day, I took the Metro to the Library of Congress. From there, I walked around Capitol Hill, taking pictures of the Supreme Court building, the Capitol, and the Navy Memorial.
