I decided to test out the low-light capability of my camera and a rental copy of the Nikkor 17-55mm, f/2.8 AF-S DX lens. Even on a beat-up rental copy, the pictures were sharp and it's construction was top-notch. Sadly, the photographer is still the weakest link in my photos.
